Learning and Development

  • We understand the need to maintain your industry qualifications, but we want to actively support you in your consultant career. Want to specialise further in a specific part of cyber security? We can help. Want to know more about a specific sector? We have the means to get you that knowledge. Through mentoring, lunch and learns, conferences and on-the-job experience we support our consultants to continually improve.

Consultant Profile

  • Amethyst is looking to recruit individuals with three essential attributes: the ‘soft’ consultancy skills required for a client facing role that includes great verbal and non-verbal communication skills, the motivation and commitment to deliver, and a high level of integrity; a baseline of technical IT knowledge and; cyber security experience and skills, which may include familiarity with Government cyber security policy, implementation and/or auditing experience, experience of conducting technical risk assessments, security architecture, and much more. Our role descriptions state essential and desirable skills and experience, but there is some flexibility and we will consider all applicants in the round during the interview process
  • We support the Armed Forces Covenant and offer employment opportunities to those who have served or are serving as Reservists in the UK’s Armed Forces. We can interview early in the leaving process, providing guidance on desirable qualifications that can be achieved during resettlement, and in some case offers of employment many months in advance.
