Online shoppers still at risk from cyber-criminals
With Christmas fast approaching, a survey has revealed more than a fifth of consumers have had personal details stolen and their accounts used to make purchases.
According to a new survey by Deloitte on cyber security, just under half of respondents said they often felt they were being targeted by cyber-criminals.
The Deloitte survey also found companies that failed to safeguard data were more likely to lose custom than those which raised prices. Almost three-quarters of UK consumers surveyed say they would reconsider using a company if it had failed to keep their personal details safe
