Amethyst has a focus on accreditation and the many support activities associated with it. Our unique experience and approach allows us to take ownership of the through-life accreditation process. We are expert in scoping accreditation activities and defining the wide range of evidence often required to support accreditation decision making. Our partners also provide a full range of services under the CESG CHECK scheme.

Our consultants regularly provide knowledge transfer during their assignments. For example, in a recent MOD project our consultant worked closely with the acting Security Assurance Coordinator (SAC), to ensure he gained valuable knowledge and experience of IA policy and processes. They also have current experience in the implementation of the HMG IA Maturity Model (IAMM) and Assessment Framework, and development of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA).

All Amethyst consultants have government security clearances to access data at least up to Secret, with a number cleared up to Top Secret.

Amethyst consultants are members of various professional bodies including the IISP, and some are CISSP certified.
